Meet Calypso! Calypso is a charming and affectionate 10-year-old, 14.3-hand Azteca gelding looking for an experienced owner to continue his journey. Rescued on August 9, , he has undergone significant rehabilitation and blossomed into a wonderful, willing partner. Due to my busy schedule with school, work, and family commitments, I haven’t been able to spend as much time with him as I’d like. While this has led to minor setbacks in his progress, they have been addressed with the vet, and all he needs is corrective shoeing (temporary). Despite this, Calypso remains a joy to handle—he is calm around vehicles and loud noises, stands tied, cooperates well with the farrier, and adores children (he is an amazing therapy horse). Calypso is versatile, happily riding both with a saddle, bareback, and bitless. He has trail experience and quick learning ability. He is up to date on vaccinations and ready to be a fantastic addition to a caring, experienced home.
