PasturePost is a dedicated classifieds platform for the equestrian community, allowing riders, breeders and trainers to buy and sell horses, tack, trailers and other horse-related items in a single, purpose-built marketplace.
How do I create an account?
Click Login / Register in the top-right corner, choose Private or Business, and fill in the form—usernames must be at least four characters and passwords six characters.
Is PasturePost free to use?
Creating an account and browsing listings is completely free, and there’s no payment step when you click Post Your Ad to publish a standard listing.
How do I stay safe when buying or selling?
Verify paperwork.
Always request a recent Coggins, health certificate and a signed bill of sale before money changes hands.
Use reputable platforms and insist on clear media.
Stick to recognised sites like PasturePost and avoid listings with low-quality photos or vague details.
Don’t skip the pre-purchase exam.
A basic PPE protects both buyer and seller and helps avoid disputes.
What can I list on PasturePost?
Beyond horses, you can advertise tack, feed, trailers, pasture or barn rentals, pets, services and even real-estate thanks to the flexible category menu shown in the listing form and on the home page.
How can I contact support?
You can reach the PasturePost team by phone at (833) 4-HORSEY or by email at [email protected].
How are PasturePost’s listings priced so low?
Because we move fast, spend smart, and pass the savings to you.
PasturePost runs on ultra-efficient, cloud-native tech and is led by veteran tech executive Jonathan Albarran, who’s driven digital transformations for some of the world’s most iconic brands.
The result? Listings start at $0.99 and plans top out at $19.95, so you can put more money into your horses, not your ads.
Listing Management
How do I post a new listing?
Log in, then click Post Your Ad in the main navigation.
Fill in required fields—Title, Category, Price, Horse Listing Type, Breed and a detailed Description.
Upload high-quality photos (up to 50) and optional video or virtual-tour links to attract more buyers.
Click Post Your Ad again to publish; you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to the live ad.
How do I edit, renew or delete my listing?
After logging in, select My Ads from the top menu to see all your active and expired listings.
From there you can choose Edit to update details, Renew to extend an expired ad, or Delete to remove it permanently. Changes take effect instantly.
How can I make my listing stand out?
Invest in crisp media. Professional-quality photos stop the scroll and can increase both price and speed of sale.
Give buyers the information they need. Include conformation shots, video under saddle and a thorough description of health, training and temperament.
Price realistically. Research similar horses and list a fair, negotiable figure to build trust and encourage serious inquiries.
